The life of a...

The life of a loner is really quite lonely

It's everything you'd expect, you're always alone

You see people, you know people

But they don't see you, they don't know you

Drift from group to group, wondering day and night, hoping that one day someone sticks

Friends are hard to come by, but at least I have my phone

Walking endlessly with nowhere to go, I have to stay busy, or my loneliness might show

Man this life is really quite lonely, but I hope no one will know.

I sit there waiting, waiting for something to happen, hoping that one day I see someone attractive

Someone who sees me as I see them

Someone who recognizes the loneliness that I come from

I wonder where they are, what they're doing

I hope they're being safe

Just know that I am waiting, patiently for the day

The day I can I say I'm no longer lonely bc I have someone I can be alone with.
