My letter never came, I’ve waited and waited but got to go.

I’ve been reading and rereading Harry Potter since I was 8 years old,

By 11 I was waiting for a letter that would never come.

As an adult, I fully understand that Hogwarts is a fictional school in a fictional universe,

But it would be amazing to receive a letter to attend a magical place to get away from this boring life,

There really isn’t anything magical about being an adult,

Anything magical was left in childhood and in movies.

Why should everything magical be just for children?

That seems a little bit unfair,

Adults need a magical life too
