Legend has it on Hallows Eve,

The dead walked amongst the living.

Their spirits come alive in the still of the night.

Beneath the moon and all of the stars,

The creatures of the dark roam free.

An eerie thought perhaps,

That the once forgotten souls of the dead marched once again,

With the remaining mortals on Earth's plane.

Beckoning the little children,

With promises of treats and tricks,

While roaming the streets on Halloween night.
