The Laughing Lamp

A Poem

By mitty anegoPublished about a year ago 1 min read

A little lamp with glowing grin,

Lights up nights with joy within.

Dancing shadows on the wall,

Throw a party, big or small!

It flickers jokes in yellow hue,

Tickles chairs and books askew.

Games of tag with beams of light,

Hide and seek all through the night.

Wiggles, winks, a shining prank,

Spins a tale on every plank.

Not just glow—it's glee and play,

Brightening up a dull, dark day.

So if you hear a giggling gleam,

It’s the lamp’s light-hearted dream.

Turn it on—let joy commence,

In laughter’s lovely, glowing sense!
