The Last Will And Testament Of A Murderer
What is left to leave but sorrow

The Last Will And Testament Of A Murderer
To whoever discovers these pages at last
Know every shadow was born from the past
Monsters are seldom just born into night
Most are first broken long before they bite
I leave behind blood that no rain ever cleaned
Faces still rising inside of my dreams
Each pair of eyes follows close when I sleep
Dead do not vanish, they settle too deep
The papers will paint me pure evil and cold
Simple for frightened good people to hold
Yet none of them lived through the house where I grew
None heard the things children never should do
My father taught violence before I knew grace
Mother wore bruises like part of her face
Something inside me twisted with years
Fed upon rage and unspoken fears
Still this is no plea to pardon my hands
I buried too many beneath broken land
No childhood suffering erases the stain
Nothing excuses the horror or pain
Tonight I feel every life that I stole
Standing around me and staring my soul
Silence grows heavy as death nears the room
Guilt has a way of eventually blooming
So let this confession remain when I’m gone
A warning of what hatred slowly becomes
Evil keeps growing where cruelty is fed
Long before murder lives fully in flesh
