The Laser's Eye: A Poem on Construction's Guiding Light

A Poetic Exploration of Laser Scanning Technology

By Matt SharonPublished 2 years ago • 1 min read

No longer tape and plumb bobs guide,

A crimson eye, the future's tide.

The laser scans, a silent sweep,

Capturing details, secrets deep.

Walls unseen, a hidden maze,

Pipes and wires in laser's gaze.

Clash detection, a digital fight,

Preventing errors, setting things right.

From blueprints born, a dream takes flight,

But laser's truth ensures it's built just right.

As-built models, precise and true,

Reflecting reality, clear and new.

The clash of beams, a symphony unheard,

Virtual conflicts, a single word.

Clash resolved, a sigh of relief,

Saving time, minimizing grief.

Progress tracked, a digital scale,

Quantities measured, no room to fail.

Waste minimized, resources saved,

The laser's wisdom, a future paved.

So raise a glass to the crimson ray,

Guiding builders on their destined way.

For in its light, precision thrives,

The laser's eye, where construction survives.
