The Language of Life

Evolution of Human Language

Language, a gift divine,

Evolved with man, through time.

From simple sounds to complex words,

It's the bridge that connects our worlds.

The grunts and groans of ancient man,

Became the roots of language's plan.

With words, they learned to communicate,

And passed their knowledge down, generation to generation, without debate.

From crude markings on cave walls,

To the written word, it evolved and calls

Out to us, to tell our tales,

And in doing so, we connect and never fail.

Language evolves, it never stands still,

New words and meanings, with each passing thrill.

It adapts to culture, geography, and time,

And in its evolution, it continues to shine.

Language is more than just words,

It's an expression of our hearts, a flock of birds.

A symphony of sound, that unites us all,

And in the end, it's our legacy, our clarion call.

So let us celebrate this gift of life,

For in it, we find our purpose, our strife.

In language, we find our greatest power,

The ability to connect, and our minds to flower.
