:The Lake:

The water feels like home

The waters calm as we watch it

As the sky above us was as dark as molasses, the stars bright as ever

The talk between two dear friends intertwined in blood,

Their laughter escaped their lips as they guess how would do what

The girl maid out of beauty looked towards the girl maid out of plainness

A grin eclipsed her face, as the words "wanna do something unexpected"

The plain girl holds onto the doc tighter,

frightened she might get a slight nudge into the warm lake water.

" Yes?" the girl looked at the other slightly confused,

The other girl smiled

Both girls looked at each other and the plain girl got it into her simple mind

What this brown eyes girl wanted to do and so the girl with burnt sugar eyes

Settled her feet into the wood of the doc

&

Then the girls went for it running sight of what kept them afloat

a joyful scream escaped the plain girl's lips, as they soaked their clothes in lake water.

About the Creator

Victorian Black

I have always loved writing, even if it can be challenging sometimes but that has never stopped me. I have always wanted to be an author. Many of my books take topics people are afraid to talk about, so I put that topic in my writing.
