Loyal to himself

A mercenary for hire

A knight of his day

***

He’s fierce in battle

Truly feared by everyone

He’s unstoppable

***

Then the cannon fire

Tears his right arm at the wrist

Gone! Lost forever

***

But still he’s not stopped

Not by something as simple

As a missing limb

***

He gets for himself

A replacement of iron

He is whole again

***

He picks up the sword

Now with a mightier grip

More feared than before

***

His fight lasts decades

A devil in every war

Despite the outcome

***

Some call him a fiend

Some say he is a hero

But one thing is clear

***

He’s revolutionary
