I wandered through the dark and dreary night,
The moon obscured by clouds, no glimmer of light.
I stumbled on a body, cold and still,
The victim of a murder, against their will.
The killer, who walked free, their conscience clear,
Had taken from this world a precious dear.
Their heart was filled with malice, their soul with hate,
Leaving behind a trail of destruction, as they sate.
But justice will be served, and vengeance will be sweet,
For the ones who have been wronged, will have their seat.
And though the killer may have thought they'd won,
Their fate is sealed, their time has come.
So let this be a lesson, to all those who would dare,
To take the life of another, without a single care.
For in the end, they will pay the price,
And their name will forever be stained with vice.
