Static is my life now.

No ocean waves nor birds' voices,

only a monotonic, sharp,

and painful static sound or voice

which strikes my heart

when I cry.

...

Is the simulation gone?

Are the bluish clouds gone?

Why is the lightning only static electricity

and why is my mind so empty?

My life so monotonous

that the unexpected burn

of static electricity

from polyester and wool

rubbing together

fails to warn me of anything?

Am I such a fool

that I can't foresee

the consequences of two objects' or beings' electrons

interacting like evanescent waves

or clouds or mist

and fog on the shores

of our invisibly pixelated screen?
