Comfort is lounging on a bench with your “besties”,
enjoying lollies.
Comfort is talking to your best friend,
laughing, updating, sharing latest trend.
Comfort is enjoying a favorite meal
with family and friends
while listening to ordeals
they cannot wait to share.
Comfort is eating fish and chips
in my favorite restaurant
watching other diners
and servers asking them what they want.
Comfort is drinking cold beer in a bar
while listening to a performer
with acoustic guitar.
Comfort is strolling on the beach watching seagulls
and following the waves
as they kissed the shore and leave
Comfort is looking at the stars
as they brightly adorn the skies,
on a lazy evening and a quite night.
Comfort is greeting everyone with a smile
which won't take you a mile
and is worth your while.
Comfort is being grateful and kind
to better the world full of hatred and greed.
Comfort is being able to accept
when things are crazy difficult,
and open to change
when there is no other option to take.
Comfort is a series of “letting go”
and a cycle of “moving on”
saying Yes to one and the other No,
in choosing and making decision.
Comfort is assuring myself in every challenging situation
there is always Divine intervention
no need to worry,
believe in the Holy,
be happy and jolly.
Finally,
Comfort is snuggling under my blanket
as I am about to say goodnight,
and can't wait to see another day,
as it is only a sleep away.
