Oh, how we wait, with hearts all a-glow,

For Christmas, that magical time of year,

When snowflakes fall, and fires doth grow,

And the sound of carols doth fill the ear.

The scent of cinnamon and evergreen,

Doth fill the air with a festive cheer,

As we deck the halls with lights so gleam,

And hang our stockings with hopeful fear.

But the wait, oh the wait, can be so long,

As we count the days until Christmas morn,

And wonder what wondrous gifts belong,

Beneath the tree, all wrapped and worn.

Yet the wait is worth it, in the end,

For Christmas brings joy and love, my friend,

And though the wait may seem to never end,

The magic of Christmas is worth the bend.

So let us wait with hearts full of glee,

For Christmas brings hope to you and me.

Thankyou!
