We are all books on the shelves of history
This world of illusion
Is a mirror of ourselves
all those book shelves
Are ourselves.
The heroes journey
Burns in me
and you
we are one
everyone
This snaking waking dream
with its themes
the hero and heroine
yin and yang
Are within our grasp
Make a story that lasts
Heaven our collective memories and songs
our rights and wrongs
his story
her words
Heralds us on.

Like D below I loved thar caption under the picture. Powerful! Great poem! Wish it went a little longer as there is a lot to explore there (particularly in those opening few lines) and you were building a good rhythm! 😊 Maybe write a part 2… just a suggestion. Is that your bookcase..? I was trying to zoom in on the Stephen king lol, but could not see the title. 😅
