The Hour Nobody Could Remember
Like it never existed

The Hour Nobody Could Remember
At six o’clock the town fell strangely still,
The traffic lights remained a steady red,
Every clock stopped moving without cause,
And birds dropped silent overhead instead.
People stood confused along the streets,
Checking their watches over and again,
Though none could understand what had been lost,
Only that something heavy now remained.
The following morning strangers looked afraid,
Families argued over missing time,
One woman found fresh bruises on her arms,
Another heard her dead son call her name.
The police searched through cameras all that week,
Yet every screen went black between those hours,
The footage ending sharply after six,
Returning later during heavy showers.
A bartender recalled a distant scream,
Though nobody else claimed to hear a sound,
An old man swore the sky had turned completely white,
Before the silence swallowed up the town.
Children started drawing shadowed figures,
Tall shapes with hollow spaces for their eyes,
Teachers locked the pictures in their desks,
Disturbed by how the details matched precisely.
