The Home

Home, the haven of love and serenity,

Where happiness resides, a source of tranquility.

It is the heart’s rest after wandering far,

And where life finds peace beneath its star.

It is the union of loved ones after strife,

A sanctuary of hope, the essence of life.

Here dreams blossom, bright and true,

Father, mother, child—love anew.

The kitchen brims with artful delights,

Laughter of children chases the nights.

A gathering of kin, their bonds restore,

Renewing vows to cherish evermore.

Home, the cry of a newborn child,

Seeking a mother’s embrace, tender and mild.

It’s play, it’s quarrels, and joyful disputes,

With reconciliation, happiness roots

Home, the vision of dreams yet to unfold,

A shared plan for futures bold.

Its walls protect from winter’s chill,

And shade in summer with love’s will.

Home holds secrets, tales of the years,

Memories etched in joy and tears.

Every corner whispers stories untold,

Of love, pain, and lessons of old.

Home, a door whose key is trust,

Opens only for hearts just.

It’s the return after journeys long,

Where hearts find peace and belong.
