The Hollow Within

The Hollow Within

By ElliePublished about a year ago • 1 min read

These days, I don't want to do anything.

Everything feels empty.

I just want to stare at the sky all day.

While gazing upward, I feel fragments of peace.

I don't want to be around anyone.

I want to live alone, to disappear into sorrow.

I know nobody will find me.

I feel like a walking shell,

My soul having already left me.

I don't want to be like this.

I want to discover what's happening inside me.

Something feels missing,

But I can't identify what it is.

Maybe if I knew which part was missing,

I could find it.

But I don't know.

I just don't know.
