As the days grow dark and stormy,
And the cold begins to set in,
I feel myself grow lonely,
And my thick skin start to thin...
I look out towards the horizons,
Of memories of summers passed,
As the day’s now dark and lonely,
I am a hermit, I am an outcast.
A friend in need is a friend indeed,
But with no friends in my midst,
I see the madman in front the mirror,
I still have him at least…
The dwindling days, the falling leaves,
The nights that grow ever longer,
The raindrop sky, the wind that blows,
Like my loneliness growing ever stronger...
I look around at the emptiness,
And I hope that it won't last,
For as the winter sings its song,
I am the hermit, I am the outcast...
