Many people’s strength is actually just the fear of falling.

It’s not that you’re not tired.

You just know that if you don't persevere, no one else will.

If you let go of your responsibilities, you might truly collapse.

So you can only keep enduring, keep pushing forward, and keep pretending you’re okay.

Many people look at you and think you’re strong, independent, and resilient.

But only you know that it’s not because you aren't in pain—

it’s because you aren't sure if anyone would catch you if you were to fall.

So you dare not stop, dare not show weakness, and dare not say you’re tired.

Even when you want to cry, you subconsciously tell yourself:

"Just a little longer."

But people aren’t machines.

Even the most resilient person will eventually burn out.

If you're currently in this "can't fall" state, try practicing these few things:

  • Don't carry everything alone.
Speaking up isn't a sign of weakness.

  • Allow yourself to pause.
Resting isn't escaping; it’s giving yourself the energy to keep going.

  • Don't take your endurance for granted.
You weren't born to bear it all.

  • Surround yourself with people who make you feel safe.
The people who truly care won't only be there when you're strong.

Sometimes,

the one who needs care the most

is the one who always says, "I'm fine."

And you've already tried so hard for so long.
