The Heart of the Palace
In the heart of London’s grand expanse,
Where history whispers with every glance,
Stands a palace, regal and tall,
Buckingham, the crown’s proud hall.
Its gates shine gold, its walls stand bright,
A symbol of power, a beacon of light,
Through centuries, it has seen it all—
Royal births and the echoing call.
From balcony heights, the crowds below,
Wave to the monarchs in their glow,
Guarded by sentinels, stoic and strong,
A place where the royal hearts belong.
In gardens lush, the flowers bloom,
An eternal dance beneath the moon,
And in the rooms where secrets dwell,
The stories of kings and queens still swell.
Buckingham, where legacy lives,
A treasure of all that history gives,
A symbol of strength, of grace, of reign,
A story told in every refrain.
