The Healers' Song

The Healers' Song

By F.R.B.Published 2 years ago • 1 min read

In shadowed rooms where silence dwells,

Where hearts are wrapped in sorrow’s spells,

A melody begins to rise,

Soft as whispers, bold as skies.

A trembling note, a fragile thread,

Weaves through the dark, revives the dead.

A strum, a hum, a voice so clear,

Breaks the chains of pain and fear.

For some, it’s strings that softly weep,

A lullaby to bring them sleep.

For others, drums in thunder's roar

Awaken what was lost before.

The violin cries, the trumpet cheers,

The flute dissolves long-hidden tears.

Each chord, a salve, each beat, a balm,

Each lyric, love’s enduring psalm.

They come to music broken, bare,

With heavy hearts, with souls laid bare.

But through its waves, they find release,

A harmony that births their peace.

Oh, the songs that stitch the seams,

The notes that mend forgotten dreams.

A symphony of life renewed,

By music’s grace, their wounds subdued.

So sing, oh strings, and hum, oh heart,

For healing dwells within your art.

And those who listen, those who feel,

Will find in music, love that heals.
