In the depths of the house, where shadows creep,

Lies a basement shrouded in secrets deep.

A place where the air grows thick with dread,

And the whispers of the past fill the space like lead.

Only the 6-year-old, with innocent eyes,

Can perceive the lady, in her ghostly guise.

She wanders the cellar, unseen by all,

Her presence a mystery, her purpose small.

With each passing night, the child's fear grows,

As the lady in the dark, her presence shows.

Yet no one believes her, her words dismissed,

As mere imagination, by those she's missed.

But in the silence of the night, when all is still,

The lady in the basement roams at will.

A specter of sorrow, trapped in the gloom,

Her story untold, her presence a tomb.

So beware the basement, where darkness reigns,

And the lady in the dark forever remains.

For in the depths of the house, her spirit resides,

A haunting reminder of secrets that hide.
