The Hate

Neck Hair's Tingling

Smiling...feels like I'm the only one

Smiling today

decayed moments fill the air

the emptiness speaks

loud

pounding on a psychic ozone layer

the gnawing

that knowing that

something is moving your bricks

one by one

happy

you were

always laughing

your jokes are

good ones

your life is good too but

you hear it in the conversations and the words, and you always know

this is what the wind behind the dark corner lives by

and it hits you...the gnawing the knowing the seeing

without eyes

that off switch

that two yards back

becoming aware

that it's just you and

doom...

Gloom where there

once was

Happy

Chills

'Cause it's rising like a thousand trash bags

two yards back

one step when you step

one face to the hive but you're

third eye blind

oblivious to the footsteps when you step

cause the footsteps stop.... when you stop...

laughing at the pit stops

but the pit stops give off a mental haze

that you can't see through, but you know it's growing

but it's waiting until you get in position

because the verdicts in

a sin

is about to be committed but

until then

they're two yards back

you're third eye blind

but that gnawing is real

neck hairs tell you so....
