The Hard Work
Compassion for Yourself, Compassion to Others

Deglazing all of your jaded memories
Instead of allowing them all to
Steep and grow adamantine
Takes a concerted effort
Rallying together
All of the
Cells within your brain
That have done their very best to protect you
Ignite them all, and call
On your most deeply rooted fortitude
Never allow cruelty to diminish your inherent softness

Beautiful! 💜
A beautiful message. I LOVE that your opening word was ‘deglazing’ ! 🥰 I think this is the first time I’ve seen it used in poetry and it just works!
Beautiful and Uplifting !
