The Greatest Poets Of Their Time
An Unofficial list of 34
Do you appreciate the art of aesthetic writing?
It’s all thanks to the adorable souls that came before us for having laid a strong foundation onto which modern poetry thrives.
They owed their lives to the pen, we owe them respect.
I don’t know whether I should call them the greatest writers of all time, but “pioneers of penned creativity” is close to the explanation. If you asked most of the budding poets, am sure they will tell you they are greatly inspired by the likes of William Shakespeare, T.S Eliot, mention your favorite.
These guys had a strong influence yet am sure they would have had a louder voice if they hadn’t only lived in the technological dark ages. I mean, these guys had nothing even close to the internet we have nowadays. They lived in an era less of radios and TVs. But still, they said all they had to say through their feathers and scrolls.
Long live thee national assets!!
