The Great Unknown

A Poem

The Great Unknown.

The Snow drifts carelessly, clouds my vision so white.

My heart beats relentlessly, On this cold Winters night.

I wonder of my future, I wonder of my past.

In a World forever changing, does anything ever last ?

The Seed won’t grow until it’s sown.

You can’t get Blood out of a Stone.

Every lost Soul is just trying to get home.

As we Sleepwalk into...

The Great Unknown.

As the Sun rises in the morning, the Snow begins to melt.

I recall all the meanings within the feelings that were subconsciously felt.

Am I the only Actor in denial? Who unconsciously plays his part ?

Who wears a mask of a Smile? To cover a fragile Heart ?

The Seed won’t grow until it’s sown.

You can’t get Blood out of a Stone.

Every lost Soul is just trying to get home.

As we Sleepwalk into...

The Great Unknown.

A Snow flake soft and delicate, soon turns to cold hard Ice.

Awaiting the warmth of sunshine but at what sacrifice.

A taste feeds a hunger, hunger breeds need.

You begin to wonder in the magic of the Seed.

The Seed won’t grow until it’s sown.

You can’t get Blood out of a Stone.

Every lost Soul is just trying to get home.

As we Sleepwalk into...

The Great Unknown.
