The Grass Is Greener Here (Pt. 4)
Paradigm
You no longer seek pleasure in these men
My spilled ink is the witness, they are the pen
Do you comprehend what you have accomplished
Stand back and stare at the demon you demolished
Acknowledge what there is to be gained, nothing has been lost
You now really see what they saw
How long did it take for you to be this free
Where you can love yourself so passionately and gently
The perfect paradigm of growth you are
A diamond left in an old coal mine
Still you shine without asking for attention
Where did you gain so much potential
Your beauty just shows wherever you go
It’s not what’s on the surface but the person I know
I hope you never forget your worth
Be kind to others, but start with yourself first
