Dropping off the page a bit
Got lost in the translation
Lit up my thoughts and took a hit
Tingling lingers, verbal sensations
The words had more than words to say
They led me down a path
Got me lost in yesterday
I had some trouble coming back
They spun me, weaving round in messages
The kind that linger for awhile
Magical, lyrical passages
Reviving long forgotten smiles
Paths of wonder, hope and fantasy
A never ending journey
Moments defying gravity
Completely wrapped up in the story
Oh, the places we will go
Without cost or consequences
The place only a story knows
When lost in our subconsciousness
