The Giving Tree

Warning...

Strong, tall, giving, and caring.

Home to lost animals.

Shade from the burning sun.

No trees, No air — NO life.

There for others when others don't care.

Day in and day out, it dances in the wind.

It asked nothing in return but that you visit once and again.

Instead of being free, it hurts.

Affected by outside forces,

Gutted to its core,

When all it did was give, give, and give more.

Like most good things in life, it's taken for granted.

To be like the tree would be a sheer blessing indeed.

To live simply is the goal.

To give and ask for nothing in return.

The giving tree, he stands no more.
