Colors surround us
There in everything
The flood us with memories
With all the remembrance they bring
White for the clouds
Green for the trees
Blue for the skies
Blue green for the seas
Color is a gift
It awakens our senses
With exuberant intent
It avoids all pretenses
For color just is
A miraculous treasure
Devoted to nature
As it offers us such pleasure
Allowing the kaleidoscope
Of colors to impress
As they contemplate all this
And find a new way to express
What opens our hearts
And makes us feel sublime
Color is the essence
That will last throughout time
