THE GATHERING
Neuro Art Pic by Marie381Uk
They gathered without a sound,
Bright strangers on the ground,
Each carried something strange,
A colour born from change.
The green one brought a dream,
The pink one brought a scream,
The black ones brought the night,
The red one brought the light.
No faces could be seen,
Just shapes of in-between,
They leaned against each other,
Like sister, friend and brother.
One whispered, “I am fear,”
One said, “I brought a tear,”
One laughed and answered, “Good,
I knew you surely would.”
The broken pieces came,
But no two looked the same,
They found an empty space,
And each one took its place.
The darkness stayed around,
Yet colour held its ground,
For even black can be
A part of what sets free.
And when the gathering ends,
The strangers leave as friends,
Each taking something new,
A little different hue.
So gather every part,
The chaos in your heart,
For sometimes peace is found
When madness comes around.
