The world is a maze, a puzzle of life,

A place where we strive to find our way,

We search for meaning in endless strife,

But the answers seem so far away.

The noise of the world is deafening,

A constant barrage of information,

We try to filter out the meaningless,

But it's hard to find any salvation.

Success is the goal we all pursue,

The measure of our worth in life,

We chase it down with all our might,

But it seems to be always out of sight.

The world can be a lonely place,

A desert of the soul,

We search for love and companionship,

But they seem so hard to hold.

The world is a place of beauty,

Of wonder and of awe,

But the frustration we feel inside,

Can blind us to it all.

The frustration of the world is real,

But we must not let it win,

We must keep searching for the answers,

And not give up on the within.

The world may be frustrating,

But it's also full of wonder,
