The mind it twists, and turns within,
A labyrinth of thoughts, that no one can win,
A fragile thing, that's easily swayed,
By the forces of life, that it's afraid.
It's a mystery, that no one can solve,
A puzzle that's complex, and deeply involved,
With the secrets of the soul, and the heart,
And the struggles, that tear us apart.
It's a battlefield, of our own design,
Where the war between, reason and emotion, align,
And the outcome, is never quite clear,
For the mind is a creature, that's always sincere.
So let us be gentle, with our own mind,
And treat it with care, of the gentle kind,
For the fragility of the psyche, is a precious thing,
And a gift that's rare, that we should never sting.
