I have a fortress

made of a gossamer

impenetrable

like silken chainmail

unseen to most

glistening in the sunlight and

quiet sparkle in the dark

a place where thoughts

are apprehended

and questioned

before access is granted

where observation

is decoded

a safe place

in the spirit realm

here among us

I have a fortress

and it's in me

and it

is me.
