The Forgotten Garden

Where Autumn Dreams Sleep

Beyond the hills where golden rivers bend,

There lies a garden hidden from the wind.

Its gates are old, covered with vines and stone,

A place where silence rules the world alone.

Once it was filled with music, light, and grace,

Children running freely through its embrace.

Roses bloomed brightly beneath summer skies,

Reflecting joy in countless shining eyes.

But seasons changed as all things often do,

The bright green leaves slowly lost their hue.

Autumn arrived with quiet amber feet,

Covering forgotten paths and empty streets.

Now ancient fountains sleep beneath the rain,

Dreaming softly of laughter once again.

Broken statues watch the fading day,

While distant birds carry memories away.

Yet beauty lingers even after years,

Hidden gently behind sorrow and tears.

For every garden touched by winter’s hand

Still holds the promise of spring’s return to land.

And somewhere deep beneath the fallen gold,

Life waits patiently against the cold.

Ready to rise when sunlight calls once more,

Opening forgotten hearts forevermore
