THE FOREST'S CALL
A Walk in the Woods
The forest whispers secrets in the breeze
Tall trees reach up, to touch the sky
Beneath the canopy, a world at ease
A place where peace and calm can lie.
The rustle of leaves, the chirp of birds
The gentle trickle of a nearby stream
Nature's symphony, with no need for words
A reminder of life's beauty and serene.
The mossy earth, soft beneath my feet
The scent of pine, fresh in my nose
A world untouched by man's deceit
Where the soul can truly find repose.
In the stillness of the forest, I find
A sense of awe, and a sense of peace
A place where the worries of mankind
Are left behind, a soul's release.
The forest holds a magic all its own
A world of beauty, yet still so wild
A place where one can truly roam
And feel at home, in nature's style.
