THE FOOLISH BUTTERFLY

Let me recite a story

of the black butterfly,

longing for beautiful wings.

Unaware of her darkness,

her shady and gloomy soul

Sought love and care.

Once upon a time, while

dancing amidst the flowers,

the sunny day carried her away.

Lured by the bright petals

of a beautiful flower, the

foolish butterfly longed for it.

And as if her gloomy soul

had met a soulmate, she

peeked at it, wanting to be close.

From that day onwards,

all day and all night, she

just thought about the flower.

One day, mustering up courage

and with her trembling soul,

she flew up to the flower.

Hesitantly, but with a

bold heart, she asked,

"Will you love me?"

"Stay away from me,

you ugly butterfly!"

The flower replied rudely.

Poor butterfly, heartbroken,

thought of herself as ugly, unable

to understand the ugly mindset.

Crying bitterly, thinking that

she had hurt the flower, instead

she had hurt herself from the inside.

She was now scared

and felt miserable that

nobody understood her.

But actually the one who

did not understand her

was the foolish herself...
