The Final Journey of My Life

We all must take this journey one day

Into the great beyond, where souls sway

The path we take, may be long or short

But all roads lead, to the same last resort

Death is the great equalizer, they say

For it comes to us all, without delay

It strips us of all that we hold dear

Leaving us with nothing, but memories to revere

But death need not be a thing of dread

For it can be a release, from pain and dread

It can be a journey, into a peaceful realm

A place of calm, where we take the helm

So let us embrace, this final journey

With open hearts, and spirits free

For death is but a part, of life's great dance

And in the end, it's a chance to find true romance

Into the great beyond, we shall all go

With grace and peace, in our final glow

Leaving behind, a legacy of love

To guide us all, to the heavens above.
