One must know the feeling of its reaching for them slow
Feeling beneath them, the heat begin to surge
The nothingness of tomorrow still continues to grow
Time for sins of thy past you must purge
---
Were all the world just one step after another into war
To not know there was something else to seek
Forever ago, there was a time to believe in more
For it to feel hidden by the mightiest mountain peak
---
Challenges they did so abound
Entering the madness of life's restrictions
Hear into the night the battles sound
Enter tomorrow with such strong convictions
---
For who shall ever dares to enter the endless frames of the fight
Theres be not a life of worry, but one rememberable devilish dance
Carry on with vigor, have zeal that stretches long into the night
Knowing that it was all for something, and life offered you the chance
---
For all that was worthy of doing, it was something for which to have fought
First love was not everlasting to the miserableness of dismay
Spillage of the blood of others was something so frequent to have forgot
As boots stomped into the Earth, fighting through a world of rot and decay
---
Holding tight to the things that mattered most
Be sure, through the night your the one to last
And letting go of the memories that haunt like a ghost
Forgive the sins of that turmultuous past
---
Lost inside the shell that breathes
Someone other than the one that did become
Praying the darkness someday leaves
And to be respected as much as hated by some
---
Held tightly to the good that was felt
Such is life's everlasting challenge for all
Crying less, release the worries of the hand that was dealt
Knowing that it was of import to just play until you fall
---
Come early it might have done
You felt the grasp of time holding onto your skin
The heat surging from below reminding it will not be fun
Knowing there's a fight in which you cannot win
---
Hits they'll keep coming until the end
Bodies may break
But souls of the righteous do not bend
Swinging with all that is inside, untl that last breath's sake
---
Give up dear one, for it's time
Fought through the pain and the idignities of fear
To have a rest is no crime
This last fight marks the final year
