Once there was a chicken named Sue,

Who couldn't lay an egg, it's true.

She tried and tried with all her might,

But still, no egg was in sight.

🐣

One day she had a brilliant thought,

"I'll lay a square one, that's what I've sought!"

She tried and tried with all her might,

And finally, a square egg took flight.

🐣

The farmer saw it with surprise,

And said "What in the world is this prize?"

But Sue just smiled and said with glee,

"I'm a square egg laying chicken, can't you see?"

🐣

The farmer sold her egg for a pretty penny,

And Sue lived happily ever after, many

Years, always laying square eggs with pride,

And never once did she feel denied.
