Once it shone, a miracle so bright

A rainbow of colors, that lit up the sky

Its beauty and grace, a sight to behold

A symbol of hope, with colors so bold

*

But time and weather, have taken their toll

And now this rainbow, has lost its hold

Its colors now fading, with each passing shower

Leaving behind, a sight in decay

*

The fading rainbow, its end so near

Its colors now dull, its magic in fear

Its last goodbye, to all below

A disappearing miracle, a sight to know

*

It's time is up, its journey done

A life that once was, now gone

Its memory remains, a testament bright

To a rainbow that shone, with all its might.
