The Eyes Inside My Mind

I drew five circles on the page,
but flowers they became,
each one opened like an eye
and softly called my name.

The pink held all my memories,
the green contained my fears,
the purple knew my secrets
I had carried through the years.

The yellow laughed around them,
bright as morning through a door,
while the black lines kept them safe
from spilling on the floor.

People asked me what they were,
but how could I explain?
Some thoughts arrive as colours,
others fall like rain.

My mind does not draw straight lines,
it wanders where it will,
through crooked paths and strange designs
that never remain still.

One flower watched my childhood,
one guarded who I am,
another stared at shadows
that nobody else could understand.

I let my hand keep moving,
for it seemed to know the way,
bringing hidden parts of me
into the light of day.

It may look wild and different,
a world without a name,
but every shape belongs to me,
and none are quite the same.

This is my neuro garden,
where my silent feelings grow,
and every eye reveals a truth
that only I can know.
