The Eternal Spiral
A constant, cyclic state of growth and change
Like the mandala of the Buddhist sages,
I spiral through the constant changes
that carry me on through the vortex
of my current life and to the next.
A cyclic state of change and growth,
“Samsara” as the Buddha quoth.
Yet in the microcosm, too,
of the day-to-day, I still renew.
This constant wheel of transformation
leads me through each permutation
and helps me grow, in accordance with karma,
in keeping with the laws of dharma.

On Winning and Losing
