I feel you in his soul

Deep down

Where he keeps

The memories of

You and Him

The energy you shared

That he keeps harnessed

Like glow bugs in a bottle

That he keeps fed

Nourished to full health

With time meant for me

I see him wander off

In his mind

I want to ask him

Where he goes

But I know

I will only hear lies

The smile that pierces

His lips

I can tell

They're embracing yours

I can feel the dance

The embrace

The passion

He feels for you

Not me

I can smell

The betrayal

Like a lipstick stain

On his collar

I see his shame.
