The Essence of being

Alive?

What does it mean to be alive?

To be alive is to have a purpose.

To be alive is to be ambitious.

To be alive is the ability to walk my life's path.

Being alive isn't merely existing;

It is to struggle.

I am walking on my life's path,

With ambition as my machete,

I carve my own way.

Unshaken by the wilderness,

I refuse to sway.

The wilderness is the harness of life,

The thorns are my failures,

The trail of blood is my mark.

I shall grit my teeth and forge ahead,

For I strive to be extraordinary.

Today I tread on grass,

Tomorrow I shall step on mountains and rivers.

I will walk my life's path until the end,

Until death comes to claim me.

I shall have no regrets,

For I lived fully,

For my life held meaning.

I shall die trying,

With a smile on my face.

So let me struggle more,

I refuse to be ordinary;

I want to defy the trials of time

With my achievements.
