The escape that changed my voice

Dear me, what a journey we have walked together

I have arrived. I thought I did, or is it possible to suffer in an imaginary world?

The tender hands become unkind in a nocturnal image. Barefoot witnesses the cold mortal voice of the escape. Footprints behind remind of the pain rooted by the unkind hands. Tears of the unknown shadows scar into my swollen face.

Tears of blurry silence remind me I have arrived.

The darkness trapped me in a magnetic globe, pulling me away from reality. The unattractive memories of the unkind remind me of reality. Barefoot in pain, rocks in my skin shifted to cold particles smoothing my swollen feet. The roar of the ocean, a voice of warning, crashed into my hearing organs. Chaotic waves were my listeners, and I felt heard.

Today, I'm writing a book that recounts the life once felt was too painful to tell.

We tell people to be strong, but we don't let them feel.
