The End of Class—After Karl Marx

#VocalNPM

By David J. R.Published 7 years ago 1 min read
This is a persona poem through the perspective of Karl Marx.

From oppressor

To oppressed,

To equality throughout,

I have the power.

To impose change

Is my endgame.

No rich and no poor,

here’s to the end

of materialism.

Though the days seem grim,

Know your rulers

Can be your peers,

As long as

You listen to me.

Those who have

Followed my ways

Have failed.

They just didn’t listen.

No leaders

Nor followers.

Just one working

Unit.

As Moses parted

The Red Sea,

Let us be

The ones

To form a new one.

Rewrite Exodus,

As this is our time.

Thus saith

My wallet

As barren as can be

Let my people go!

“Workingmen

Of all countries

unite.”
