Her mother’s illness had made life at home increasingly difficult, with frequent hospital visits and a growing pile of unpaid bills. Lena, a naturally curious and resourceful soul, often found solace in exploring the world outside her home.

One crisp autumn afternoon, with leaves turning shades of amber and gold, Lena ventured into the overgrown garden. Her mother’s condition had worsened recently, and Lena’s desperation for a solution had driven her beyond the familiar.

She navigated through the tangled underbrush, pushing aside branches and stepping over roots, until she reached the mansion’s back gate. The gate creaked open with a reluctant groan, revealing a garden that seemed almost sentient in its wildness.
