In the small, sleepy town of Oakridge, the abandoned mansion at the end of Hollow Lane had long been a source of whispers and legends.

Its once-grand façade now stood shrouded in ivy, with broken windows and rotting wood, a skeleton of a bygone era. But it was the overgrown garden that truly captured the imagination of the town’s children.

They spoke of a wild tangle of ancient trees and tangled vines that hid secrets beyond the crumbling stone walls. Lena, a fourteen-year-old girl with a tangled mass of dark curls and a determined spirit, had always been drawn to the mansion.
