Peak of my Past

As I stand on a cliff; the peak of my past

Footsteps in the ground

Now fading in their tracks

I peer down from The Edge, purged of lies Ive been fed

Starring into the eye, of the rest of my life

I fear not the drop; what I cannot see

For belief has turned to knowing

And what once was invisible, now, so clear at my reach

Shutting out any doubt

Within illusions of emptiness, no longer shall I drown

Ethereal bodies of knowledge, greet me in the sky

Embrace me in warmth… secure enough to fly

The initial fall, shall be one of grace

For the wind seeps through my skin, it will carry my weight

I say goodbye, as I turn to look ahead

Leaving behind scriptures of ancient times

I jump off The Edge, into the arms of eternal love

I embody my fate

From below, I rise above.
